One of Britain’s biggest and best (in our humble opinion), Pirate Festivals!
The Brixham Pirate Festival began in 2002 when members of the community decided to create an event to liven up one of the quietist bank holidays of the year.
Since those humble beginnings, the festival has grown into one of the biggest pirate gatherings in the world, and attracts people from all four corners to partake in a weekend of Piratical merriment!
The Dartmouth Triathlon (formerly the South Hams Triathlon) is back for a 6th year.
New for 2021 are our junior Swim-Runs/Aquathlons and adult swims on Saturday afternoon.
This sprint distance triathlon event offers a stunning course starting and finishing at Blackpool Sands beach. It’s a challenging course with some climbs but also flat sections on both the run and the bike where you can really put the hammer down.
The team at Tunes are bringing a brand new festival to this incredible location in Blackpool Sands, Devon with major national & international acts.

Over 30 live performances were held across a number of venues in the town, including The Kings Arms, The Fortescue Inn, Salcombe Harbour Hotel, Island Street Bar & Grill, Sailor V, The Distillery Bar, The Victoria Inn and Dick & Wills restaurant.
Highlights over the weekend include a spectacular procession with hundreds of beautiful, hand-made paper lanterns and Father Christmas’ boat gliding silently through the moonlit waters of the river Dart.
Held in the picturesque south Devon town, pageantry, glamour and romance is the name of the game… By day the medieval streets are filled with entertainers, children’s activities and live music. Shoppers explore the festive market and browse in over 200 independent stores, but at dusk the town is transformed into a glittering wonderland.
